So good to be back in Manhattan.  Friends, new apartment, my awesome roommates, K-State, and taking on the world!  I am so excited for what God has planned this year, and where and how he will use me.  Got to see a sunset at the Konza with three of my favorite people.  A glimpse of His beauty and power.

Survived a 10 day Dorsett vacation!  Great time with family and much history!  Glad to be home though :)  

Now time to get started working, spend time with God, and enjoy beautiful Kansas with kayaking, bike rides, camping, and much more adventure!

He has moved mountains this semester.  He has changed hearts.  He is so faithful.  And I get to spend my life in eternity with my faithful father and ALL my brothers and sisters in Christ.  Life moves on, we move on, we change our paths. But HE is never changing.

1 Peter 1:3-11

Sprout where you are planted.  I want to break free of my roots.  I want to be free from commitment, from plans.  Spontaneous.  Living for the moment, but living for His moment.  HIS timing.  HIS plan.  None of this is mine.  I need trust. I need promise.  He does promise.  So, dear brothers and sisters, work hard to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen.  Do these things, and you will NEVER fall away.  His promise.   Ask me what my greatest fear is?  I might say spiders, scary movies, losing my parents, losing my brothers, losing my friends.  But really I am afraid of myself.  I'm afraid that what I do won't be enough.  I won't use what I'm given for HIS glory and HIS grand plan.  This verse shows me that I shouldn't be afraid because he will not let me fall away, as long as I stay committed to him.  I don't know where I'll be in a year, two years, five years.  I don't have a major.  I don't have a plan.  But he does.  And it is GREAT!
